Problem / Symptom | Volatility in stock reconciliations have created a need to be able to identify pallets / cases on the floor at a point in time. In order to be able to properly report on this we need snapshot data at a detail level for both Packs and Pallets without Inventory restriction. |
Finding | Existing snapshots are missing key contextual data, thus had to create separate solution. |
Fix | SSIS package developed and deployed to run locally on both production servers. |
Deployment Details | Solution loaded to TFS (See below). Run all package for use in running both (testing purposes). Packages are segregated as UTH_Snapshot_Master and HBP_Snapshot_Master which is self explantory.

Key Database Objects created in Sovfoods_Integration.Innova as follows:- [Inventory_Snapshot_Runs] - Header object to hold datetime of snapshot run and success or failure of Pack and Pallet runs
- 0 = Success
- 1 = Failure
- Pack_Audit_Snapshots - Pack snapshot detail
- Pallet_Audit_Snapshot - Pallet snapshot detail
